Today, I chose to post about a sidewalk chalk artist, Kurt Wenner, who draws mind blowing masterpieces in streets. His work is fabulous. I still can't believe he can create such depth with such a basic tool, one we all used as children. If only it never rained so his work could be permanent... :(

Monday (September 22) - Artist/Musician Day - Pnina Tornai

I chose Pnina Tornai, a wedding gown designer based in Kleinfeld Bridal Salon in New York City, as today's artist of the day, because she is the one designer most often advertised in my favorite bridal show, Say Yes To The Dress. Yes. I'm that girl, the one obsessed with weddings, but in my defense, I was my sister's Maid of Honor this past summer, so I've been COMPLETELY immersed in wedding craziness for well over a year. Not complaining though. It's kind of great... :)

This is a house I found, and whimsical-ized. Personaly, I think this house is absolutely adorable. It is feasibly (sort of) realistic, however the all the lines are whimsical enough that the cottage itself appears to have recently stepped out of a fairy tale in fairyland. So that's cool.

Monday (September 15) - Artist Day (Jared Emerson) ... Also Food Puns

Jared Emerson is an artist I discovered at a concert (Winterjam 2014). He came up to the stage with a few buckets of paint while a band was performing. As the artists were singing and playing their respective instruments, Emerson was splattering paint across a giant canvas that was visible throughout the full sports arena. No one knew what he was trying to paint until the very last beat of the drum, when Emerson manually flipped the massive canvas over. And it was just really cool! Everyone in the arena was dumbstruck. It was great.

(TUTORIAL # 1) Fancy Sphere - Photoshop Project 1

It's a fancy sphere. 

It's so fancy. It already knows. 

However, it is an intelligent sphere, and instead of going to LA and Tokyo and wasting all its hard earned money, it's going to college to waste its money in a much more "efficient" way. Also its parents like it a LITTLE bit better. But they still like its younger sister Triangle better.
