I found this artist... wait for it... on Pinterest. Shocking, right??? But I found these pictures, and my mind exploded. I think it's just because of Diego Fazio's ability to combine water and faces and his drawing not suck.

Monday (October 20) - Artist & Musician Day - JOHN GREEN

I realize that John Green is not an artist in the typical sense of the word, but he IS an artist of words. He takes words and constructs them into sentences and paragraphs and chapters and stories. And they're all beautiful. He talks about Great Perhaps's and love and venn diagrams and death. He also puts meaning and depth into such devestating occurances as cancer and death.
But beyond that, he and his brother, Hank Green, have created this online domain of people--more specifically, nerdy people--with common interests and obsessions. They raise millions of dollars and awareness for deserving needs. And it's kind of great. They are kind of cool.

Wednesday (October 15) - Critique Me - I PAINTED MY BROTHER'S FACE!!!
I have two jobs. I am a babysitter and a facepainter. During October, I facepaint nearly every weekend. These are two of my favorite designs we do. I really like that I can include gold and GLITTER on the tiger. I also love the fact that on my brother's face (in the picture of the fish), he has a Wonder Woman crown-thingy. It really completes the painting.

Today, I chose TobyMac, because he is my favorite musician, like... ever. I've been to 2 of his concerts, and both were AMAZING! He was my first concert, and he definitely crowd-surfed. And it was amazing. The photo I chose is one of his CD's, that happens to be my favorite. So yeah. :)
